Information regarding the continuation of CODE-DE

The current contract term of CODE-DE ends on 30 September 2024.

The German Space Agency at DLR is now working on the extension of CODE-DE so that CODE-DE will continue as usual after that date.

Nothing will change for users - all data and services will continue to be available as usual after 30 September 2024.

For contractual reasons, resource quotas can currently only be approved until 30 September 2024, but these can of course be extended afterwards so that the allocated resources are retained.

The Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport has budgeted funds for the long-term continued operation and ongoing development of CODE-DE.
