Call for the demand for commercial NewSpace data

The German Space Agency at DLR provides scientific institutions in Germany with access to innovative commercial "New Space" satellite data.

For research and development purposes as well as for teaching, satellite data from the providers constellr GmbH, OroraTech GmbH, and Planet Labs is made available free of charge on a limited basis upon request.

While high-resolution optical Planet data is recorded continuously, land surface temperature (LST) data from constellr and OroraTech requires tasking for data acquisition. Once data requests have been selected, the data will be made available here. The survey is open until November 16, 2025.
