Sentinel-5P AUX
On the CODE-DE platform two auxiliary products providing forecasted a-priori profile shapes for the NO2, HCHO and SO2 vertical columns are available (AUX-CTMANA and AUX CTFCT). These products are generated using the TM5-MP global chemistry transport model, which is employed for deriving highly resolved vertical profiles of nitrogen dioxide (NO2), formaldehyde (CH2O), and sulfur dioxide (SO2) for use in satellite retrievals from platforms such as the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) and the Sentinel-5 Precursor, and the TROPOspheric Monitoring Instrument (tropOMI).
They are used to constrain the TM5-MP model during the actual retrieval of the atmospheric constituent products based on TROPOMI measurements.
AUX-CTMANA and AUX CTFCT are made available to provide advanced users with the a-priori model input.
