Servicestelle Fernerkundung

The Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie (BKG, Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy) operates the Servicestelle Fernerkundung (Remote Sensing Service Center) for all federal institutions. It provides authorities, both new and expert users, with numerous consulting and support services with a focus on very high-resolution remote sensing data. One goal is to promote the multiple use of these - mostly commercial - data sets.

For example, the Servicestelle Fernerkundung advises on the use of remote sensing data in individual applications and provides support in researching data sets (e.g. Copernicus Contributing Missions, CCM) or in obtaining commercial remote sensing data.

Usage requirements
