Volume Storage
Volume Storage can be attached to Virtual Machines as a Block Device to dynamically expand storage capabilities. Volume storage is independent of the VMs and can be easily moved from one VM to another.
Users can create snapshots of the volume storage to restore the frozen state later. The size of the volume storage is only limited by the amount of available space, volumes can also be resized without a dismount.
Volume-based VMs can be easily migrated between servers. Volume storage can be encrypted if a user desires such an option. It is also possible to create a live backup copy of a volume.
